Double sided tape is pressure-sensitive adhesive tape coated on both faces, bonding two surfaces without visible tape. Used to seal inner carton flaps, laminate foam inserts to box walls, mount labels, and bond protective liners.
Types of Double Sided Tape
Tissue double sided tape uses a thin tissue carrier — virtually invisible bond line. For paper-to-paper bonding, label mounting, carton assembly.
Foam double sided tape uses an EPE or polyurethane foam carrier that fills gaps and damps vibration. For bonding foam inserts inside corrugated boxes and rubber gaskets.
Width Guide
12mm for narrow sealing. 18mm general purpose. 24mm for foam lamination. 48mm for large surface bonding. Standard roll length: 25 to 50 metres.
Adhesion Grades
Permanent grade: bond cannot be separated without substrate damage.
Removable grade: clean separation within 72 hours.
