Masking Tape

Masking tape is crepe paper with rubber adhesive designed for clean removal without residue. In packaging, used for temporary surface protection, part identification, and temporary bundling without adhesive contamination.

Packaging Applications

Surface protection: Over machined metal, polished, or painted surfaces before packaging to prevent scratching from foam or bubble wrap during transit.

Part identification: Applied to components with part number written on tape — removes cleanly at destination.

Temporary bundling: For small component bundles where standard tape adhesive would contaminate surfaces.

Temperature and Residue

Standard grade: Clean removal within 24 to 48 hours at room temperature below 35°C.

High-temperature grade: Clean removal after exposure up to 150°C for powder coating and oven processes.

Widths: 12mm, 18mm, 24mm, 48mm. Lengths: 20m, 50m.
