Foam edge protectors are extruded EPE foam in L-profile (angle) or U-profile (channel). Unlike rigid plastic edge guards that resist impact, foam absorbs impact energy through compression — protecting fragile products from drops and collisions.
Foam vs Cardboard Angle Boards
Cardboard angle boards: Structural — resist strapping compression. Foam edge protectors: Cushioning — absorb impact energy. Use cardboard for strapping applications, foam for drop and impact protection. Many applications need both.
Profile Options
L-profile: For box and product corners. Equal leg 25x25mm, 35x35mm, 50x50mm.
U-profile: For flat edges of glass panels, stone slabs, boards.
Density
20 kg/m3: Light duty. 28 kg/m3: Standard industrial. 35 kg/m3: Heavy duty for machinery and stone.
Available in 1m sticks and 100m coils. Cut with scissors.
