Tissue wrapping paper at 17 to 20 GSM is ultra-lightweight with smooth surface that slides against polished materials without creating the micro-scratches that kraft paper causes at this weight.

Why Tissue Not Kraft for Polished Surfaces

Kraft paper has sufficient surface roughness to micro-scratch polished metal, lacquered wood, silver, and glassware during transit vibration. Tissue paper's ultra-smooth surface slides without scratching.

Acid-Free Grade

Standard tissue is slightly acidic — can cause slow yellowing and tarnishing on silver over months of contact. Acid-free tissue (pH 7.0 to 8.5) is chemically inert — essential for silver jewellery, silverware, and archival materials.
